JLA
Data is a specialist
data service established to provide clarity and certainty
regarding the environmental planning instruments and policies
affecting property transactions in New South Wales. The service
is intended to simplify the increasingly complex regime of
planning controls affecting the potential development of individual
properties.
JLA Data
is specifically designed to assist individuals, property developers
and real estate agents by providing a conveniently packaged
summary of the primary planning controls affecting a property
being marketed for sale.
The JLA
Data Standard
service summarises and arranges the planning controls applying
to a particular site into a format which identifies a hierarchy
of standards including minimum site area, building height,
boundary setbacks, building envelope, floor space ratio, landscaped
area, site coverage, car parking, and any other controls of
specific relevance to the individual property.
The JLA
Data Advanced
service extends the Standard service to include the
provision of professional advice in relation to the constraints
and opportunities associated with the future development of
the individual property. In addition, the Advanced
service includes a socio-demographic analysis of the locality
within which the site is located, intended to identify any
relevant characteristics of potential relevance to future
development opportunities.
